This is Epson’s first resin ink large format printer. Printing on a wide range of
substrates such as vinyl, banner, textile, canvas, wallpaper and film, it combines accuracy, media flexibility and reliability. The odourless water-based ink means printed applications can be used in sensitive environments such as schools,
hospitals and hotels, as well as outdoor applications that require extreme durability.

Reliability

User replaceable printheads help to maximise production time, as they can be easily replaced – with no special tools – within 60 minutes. The SC-R5010 also includes a bulk ink solution (1.5-litre ink pouches) for reduced printer downtime, convenience, and lower ink costs. To further support business productivity the innovative ultrasonic detector reduces the risk of printhead failure, while nozzle verification technology (NVT) automatically compensates should any nozzle become blocked.

Flexibility

Epson’s resin inks are odourless and water-based and can be used on coated and uncoated substrates, in sensitive environments.
